TRAVEL INFORMATION
Air Travel
- Mingledorff's will book your air travel based on your request during the registration process via Uniglobe VIP Travel.
- Once you have completed registration, you will be contacted by Uniglobe VIP via email with your proposed flight itinerary.
- A response is needed within 24 hours to secure your flight arrangements.
- The closest airport to Lake Tahoe is Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). It is serviced by American, Delta, Southwest and United Airlines.
- The hotel is approximately 1-hour from RNO.
Arrival and Departure Guidelines
- Group Arrival Date: Monday, February 10, 2020
- Group Departure Date: Friday, February 14, 2020
Time Zone
- Pacific Time Zone (PST), 3 hours behind Atlanta
Extended Travel
- Extended travel arrangements in conjunction with the event travel dates will be accommodated and booked by the Uniglobe agent as requested.
- Individuals will be responsible for any additional ticketing cost made for extended travel.
- The travel agent will contact the individual directly for additional payment.
- Individuals are responsible for any additional expenses for hotel, meals, transportation, etc., in conjunction with extended travel.
Ground Transportation
- Round-trip transportation will be provided from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), which is about an hour drive to the resort.
- Ground transportation to/from the airport will be provided on the main travel dates, Monday, February 10, 2020, and Friday, February 14, 2020.
- If you are traveling outside of the main travel dates, you are responsible for ground transportation arrangements and costs.
Getting Around
- The hotel is conveniently located less than a five-minute drive to Stateline Village where you can find everything you could need during your trip! Need a ride? Edgewood Tahoe provides a courtesy, on-demand shuttle service to all Lodge guests as part of the complete resort experience. The shuttle provides transportation to the downtown Stateline area, Heavenly Mountain bases, and other locations between Zephyr Cove Beach and Ski Run Blvd. Enjoy the local amenities that the surrounding area has to offer and don't worry about the drive!
Climate
- Lake Tahoe is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range 6,500 feet in elevation along the state line of California and Nevada. Colder temperatures and snow are normal during the winter. The coolest and best time of year is between December and April when there is little to no rain.
- During the winter, daytime temperatures average in the 40’s with overnight lows below freezing. Sunny days are still plentiful, but snow is often in the forecast, especially around Lake Tahoe. Because of the high elevation and number of sunny days, sunscreen is advisable even when the temperatures drop.

Attire & What to Pack
We highly encourage you to dress in layers, wear sunscreen and sunglasses when outdoors. The temperature may change during the day and the sun is very strong from the reflection of the lake and snow.
- Day: Warm casual clothing and comfortable shoes, including active wear, sweaters, pants, sneakers, boots, closed toe shoes, sunglasses, hats, scarves, gloves, sunscreen and camera. Don't forget your bathing suit! Edgewood offers a year-round lakefront pool and hot tub which make for the perfect place to unwind.
- Evening: Resort/smart casual, including collared shirts, button up tops, blouses, dress pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, closed toe shoes, or boots.
- Skiing or Snowboarding: Waterproof snow pants, jacket, mittens/gloves, face mask, scarf or neck gaiter, goggles, helmet, sunscreen, and ski socks.
