Mingledorff's is sponsoring two individual activities on Tuesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 13 for you and your guest. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see descriptions for all activities. You have the option to select two activities. Your individual excursions will be booked based on your selection during the registration process.
Departure times, duration and inclusions will vary based on activity selections.
SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
Are you looking for adrenaline? Skiing and snowboarding are a vital part of the Lake Tahoe experience. Tahoe has the largest concentration of alpine ski resorts in North America with more than 20 downhill and cross-country ski centers around the lake. The southern foothills of Lake Tahoe are home to world-class ski resorts and acres of backcountry trails at Heavenly Ski Resort. You can choose to ski down groomed slopes or conquer double black diamond terrain for maximum adventure.
Heavenly Ski Resort crosses the state line between California and Nevada and offers 97 trails ranging from wide-open cruisers to plunging 1,600-foot chutes, 28 chairlifts around the mountain, and nine high-speed lifts.
Lessons are required for beginners.
SLEIGH & CARRIAGE RIDES
Over the mountain and through the woods is where horse drawn rides take you. Allow this historic adventure to transport you back in time as you glide over lush meadows along the original Pony Express trail.
Enjoy a one-hour guided private horse drawn sleigh ride along spectacular Lake Tahoe and through towering pines. A perfect opportunity to snap those special photos and capture your memories.
SNOWMOBILING
Lake Tahoe snowmobiling is the key to high adrenaline adventure. Mount a sled and ride into the depths of Lake Tahoe wilderness with the wind in your face.
This two-hour, scenery-focused Lakeview Tour departs from Zephyr Cove Resort, just 4 miles from the Stateline casinos. Cruise over mountain meadows to peaks nearly 9,000 feet above sea level. Glide through towering pine and aspen…breathe in the fresh air, marvel at the amazing scenery. This tour is offered in the morning and in the afternoon. You will be able to indicate your preferred time during registration.
SNOWSHOE TOURS WITH S'MORES, WINE, & CHEESE
Enjoy a guided snowshoe trek through Tahoe's peaceful, wintery forest. Experience unmatched views and learn about the winter ecology from knowledgeable local trailhead guides. You will arrive at a campfire where you can warm up with s'mores, wine, cheese plates, hot beverages.
This four-hour tour includes snowshoes, trekking poles, day packs, instruction, knowledgeable guides, bottled water, hot drinks, trail snacks, s'mores, wine & cheese.
SPA PACKAGE
Revive and rejuvenate in the resort’s 8,500 sq. ft. spa that boasts uninterrupted serenity amongst a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. GONDOLA RIDE
A 2.4 mile ride up in the Heavenly Mountain Gondola will leave you breathless as you take in panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. On your way up, stop at the Observation Deck for photos, a latte at Cafe Blue or a unique souvenir at The Gondola Sports shop.
Once you get to the top, head up the Tamarack Express chairlift with your Scenic Gondola ticket for some of the best views of Lake Tahoe. Be sure to stop at Tamarack Lodge for a hot beverage before descending the mountain.
SOUTH SHORE BREW TOUR
Experience Tahoe like a local while enjoying some great tasting brews in one of the most picturesque locations. You'll visit three breweries (Cold Water Brewery, Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery and South Lake Brewing Co.) and taste an array of beers from different brewing styles. At each brewery, you will get an inside, behind the scenes tours with brewmasters while they provide a comprehensive explanation of the brewing process that go into crating the perfect ale at each of these premier breweries.
This five-hour tour includes transportation, appetizers at the first stop on brewery tour, and 20-ounces worth of samples at each of the three breweries on the tour. You will also be taken through the actual brewing process and through the brewing facilities by the professional brewers themselves.
