Maui, Hawaii

Maui is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago, and is known as “The Valley Isle”.  It’s the second largest of the Hawaiian islands and is beloved for its world-famous beaches, the sacred Iao Valley, views of migrating humpback whales (during winter months), farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala. It’s not surprising Maui has been voted "Best Island in the U.S." by Condé Nast Traveler readers for more than 20 years.

Experiences:

Hire a boat to take you out to Molokini for some breath-taking snorkeling.  Molokini is a crescent-shaped, partially submerged volcanic crater, located between the islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe.
Be sure to check out some of the amazing natural wonders Maui has to offer such as: the sprawling Haleakala National Park, which encompasses the island’s highest peak, volcanic Haleakala, as well as the pools and waterfalls of Ohe’o Gulch, accessed via scenic, winding Hana Highway.
If it’s R&R and serene waters you’re looking for, the island's 30 miles of beaches include golden-crescent Kapalua, sheltered from strong currents by lava-rock promontories.
Brave the Hana Highway’s signature hairpin turns and narrow bridges and you’ll be rewarded with out-of-this-world views of lush rainforests, gorgeous waterfalls and exotic beaches.

With temperatures varying in different areas of Maui, averages run from 68-88F and 68-83F.
